here in Malaysia, you can see a totally reverse organizational culture.

we have no choice but to adhere to whatever is available in the market, which is relatively very low. demand is greater nowadays from employer but in terms of reward, in my personal view, is below average, and people are struggling to survive the challenges and hurdles living in this rat race world.

competition is high here. its difficult to land in a place where you can unleash your true potential at your very best interest and capabilities. so, basically you can’t pick and choose dat much.

i have unhappy co-workers leaving almost every month. everybody wants to sit on the top of the org chart nowadays..but despite many2 years of working experience, they lack of leadership, motivation and communication skills, no empathy, low emotional intelligence which caused the failure to drive and maintain the team under supervision.

this has sadly caused good employees to leave the organization. and i feel is a great loss because they make it difficult for entry but easy to let you go. people feel demotivates and less appreciated.

working out of your comfort norm must have helped you to see all this pros and cons of what different countries and organizations have to offer. but i understand from your view that to mix your own working culture (which is greatly influence by your own national culture) into your current working culture its not easy.

but i know u will enjoy and sail through the challenge i know one day you will have a good time missing and reminiscing ur great working experience there.
